Short Description: A motion graphic artwork about war and poetry

Longer Description: "I wrote letters full of love" (from Italian, "Ho scritto letter piene d'amore"), is a selection of some poems made by Giuseppe Ungaretti all about the theme of the war, more specifically about the first world war (a tragic event in which the poet was personally involved). For this project, the pomes selected are: “Veglia”, “Fratelli”, “San Martino del Carso”, and “Soldati”. 

Mentoring Context: Created in a course on digital literature taught by Giovanna di Rosario in Digital Culture at Politecnico di Milano.

Bios: Matteo Repetto is currently studying Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano (Master’s degree), he’s specialized in art direction and developing visuals in general and UI design for many different kinds of projects, especially for Game design ones. He had also occasionally participated to game design jams, in which he contributed as art director and concept artist.
